I feel it is pity that you didn’t want to take part in the speech contest. In my view, the speech contest can benefit from you in different ways. Firstly, it makes you look for more informations about your favorite scientists on the Internet or in the library, and learning more about them. Secondly, it is a challenge to prepare for a speech contest. You not only have to write a good article, and also have to perform them properly. What’s more, after the contest, you can find yourself with some newly good friends, or even a prize. I suggest you consider participating in the contest, that will really do good to you. If you change your mind, please let me know as sooner as possible.
It is likely for anyone to be misunderstood for some reason. I am no exception. One day after school, I got on my bike and start heading home. I was just about to get out of the traffic jam outside our school while a woman stopped me, claim that my bike had scratched his car. I felt confused because that I clearly remembered that I was trying to avoid touching her car just now. Therefore, she insisted on blaming me and gradually rose her voice. Surrounded by the crowd, I got anxious and desperate wanted this to be over. So I made a compromise.

Mary Daniels is a student in England. This year she had a very interested
summer holiday. He travelled with fifteen others people to the Tuwenzori Mountains
in Africa. They went there to help make a road through a forest among two big towns.
“It was very difficult because of there was no water to drink and no shops that we
could buy food,” said Mary. “It was also very cold and wetter in the mountains. It is
one of the wettest place in the world.” Mary stays in the mountains for six weeks. It
was hard work, but she said it was best thing she had ever done. She is hoping to
return next year to do some more work there.

It is three years now since I graduate from Xinhua High School. Last Sunday, the class that I was on held a get-together, which took us a long time prepare. It was indeed not easy to get in touch with everybody and set a properly time for all of us. We all enjoyed a precious day greatly, remember the time we spent together. It reminded us of the interesting stories and the people they were familiar with. It was a pity which some of us were not present as they had gone to abroad for further studies, but they called back or sent greeting card from different places.

I was the other day when she told me that she had been given a school friend of hers
a hug every day. That was why she realized the girl “wasn’t getting a lot love at home”.
It seems that she not only reached out to her friends these days but to her teachers
and other children as well as. I thought that was awesome! So, I gave she a card for
her act of kindness and told her all for it. She liked the idea very much that she decided
to find someone else to give the card so they could continue passing it forward!
