I got up early this morning, so I went to school without breakfast. I walked in so a hurry that I stepped on a banana peel dropped by an old man walk in front of me. As the result, I slipped and fell in my back. I am so angry that I wanted to blame the old man, so I controlled myself at last. It is known to all that our students of today have to fix our attention on our lessons, so we know few of society. A holiday is the best time and the best chance to make up for that. Take a part-time job is a good form of social practice. That we have learned in books and in class can’t have the same important effect us as what we have learned through personal practice. In social practice, we can surely make a progress in both knowledge or practical ability. Beside, when we take a part-time job, we may got paid more or less to help our family. Thus, I will say senior school students should take part-time jobs in their holidays, if possibly.
After a day’s hard work I went to bed early than usual. It was about two o’clock in the morning when I was awakened by a big noise. I got out of the beds and slowly went upstairs. There was a light in the living room. I listened to carefully and heard two men speak quietly. I believed my house had broken into and I was really frightening. I went back upstairs and immediately call the police. You can imagine how embarrassed I was when they came upstairs but told me they had turned the television off for me and something was all right.

How nice to hear of you! In your letter you asked me how to keep healthy. I would like to give you some advices.
As we all know, foods like fish, fresh fruit and vegetables is necessary for our body. And you should not eat too many meat. Instead of study all the time, you should take physical exercise as regular as possible. For example, you can play basketball or swim after the school. What’s more, have enough sleep is very important. So I advise you have at least eight hours of sleep every day but not to stay up too late. Only in this way can we keep healthy.
