My Hometown
Welcome to my hometown which is located on the Bohai Bay．It is very beautiful! Living here makes you feel quite good．Miles of beaches stretch along the coast．You can lie on the beach, bathing in the sun and enjoying the fresh air．The blue sky and beautiful scenery here will make you relaxed and excited.
People here are very friendly and considerate．They are ready to offer help to people from the country and abroad．There are plenty of tidy hotels and inns for visitors to stay in．Most importantly, you can enjoy all kinds of tasty special foods．I am sure you will have a good time here．

All of us know the old saying “Practice make perfect．” It tells us unless we want to realize our aim, we should practise, and one day we will make it．It’s easy to understand．Once I wanted to learn swimming．At first I found difficult to control my body．I just sank into the water．I feel very frightened．Then I watched others who were good at them and asked them the key to succeed．I went to the swimming pool every day, learned from them and practised．A day, when my friend pushed me into the swimming poo1, I sudden found that I could swim．How exciting I was! Now I can swim much more better than before．

John was visiting he 90-year-old grandpa, who lived in the country. In the first morning of the visit, John grandpa prepared a breakfast of bacon and eggs. John noticed some dirt on his plate, and asks, “Are these plate clean?” His grandpa replied, “They’re as cleaner as cold water can get them. Just go ahead and finish your meal.” For lunch, Grandpa made hamburgers. Again, John has found the plates were dirty, but he asked the same question. Without looking up, his grandpa gave same answer. Later, as John was left, his grandpa’s dog started to growl(咆哮), and wouldn’t let him pass. Grandpa shouted at the dog, “Cold Water, go lie down!”

Sometimes when Li Hua was listening to attentively in class,the classmate patted him on his shoulder,that annoyed Li Hua. He talked about it with the classmate, but it doesn’t work. Not know how to solve the problem, he was wondering whether he should tell the teacher about it, I suggested that he turned to the teacher help, but he was afraid that if he did so, the calssmate would hate him.
