Whenever my kids have a party at school, I am the mom who always signs up to bring the juice boxes. It’s not because I’m 36 or that I don’t care if my kids have a good party. I am just not good at making homemade bread into holiday-themed shapes like other mothers. However, I’m happy to try, even though it’ll take me a long time to do it.
People say that housewives should have the 37 to make delicious meals, keep their houses clean, and 38 every minute of their child’s life. Their words used to upset me a lot. I felt that I should also be able to do those things as a housewife. So when I couldn’t make the turkey-shaped cookies, I 39 feeling like a failure as a mom.
After many 40 attempts at baking, and many afternoons spent crying over my inabilities as a mother, I finally accepted the 41 that my lot(命运) in life is to be the juice box mom. I worked hard to be the 42 one in the elementary school. And after one of my daughter’s class parties, it 43 . Her teacher stopped me as I was leaving and said,"Thank you so much for always bringing 44 drinks. Sometimes parents forget that other children will also 45 class parties, and they end up being left out because we don’t have enough drinks for everyone."
I just accepted her appreciation, rather than telling her that I brought extra drinks because I could 46 remember how many kids were in the class. But her appreciation taught me an important lesson: I’m not a failure as a mom.
Not everyone is cut out to be a(n) 47 mom. I believe it’s okay to be the juice box mom. I may not bake cookies and decorate them beautifully, but I provided something to drink. And I think that’s just as important.

Language is the most astonishing behavior in the animal kingdom. It is the species-typical behavior that sets humans completely 36 from all other animals. In a world where comparisons happen non-stop, it is difficult to look outside yourself and to ever be 46 with who you are. There’s always someone who’s a bit 47 . The only solution is to reach 48 and measure against what Warren Buffett calls your own inner yardstick. There is no more 49 measure for comparison than who your were yesterday, last week or last decade, when you were at your 50 .
Nothing useful ever comes from comparison to others. Either you see yourself as better than someone and you get 51 , or you see someone else as better than you and you feel like all your hard work is for 52 . It is a fool’s game. Not one of us is exactly 53 . The only direct and honest comparison is 54 yourself. Everything else is apples to oranges.
My opinion is that you are only 55 to compare yourself to someone else if their life56 is the same as your own. Good luck finding that 57 . And one thing is for sure. No matter how hard you work and how dedicated(埋头苦干的)you are, there will always be someone who can run a little faster, jump a little higher, score a little better or look a little nicer in a swimsuit. And if there’s not, you can 58 someone is coming up fast 59 you. So how can you always win in life? Become your best 60 .
Having an image of your most recent past limits is the perfect thing to 61 you to the next level. If you ran 7 flights of stairs yesterday, then do 8 today. Who 62 if the guy next to you did 15? It doesn’t make a bit of 63 . You are a more 64 person today than you were yesterday. Your own 65 is all you need.

In the end she 48 me that I should do it the following day.
So I did. They made a short film of me reading one of my 49 and I became 50 interested in literature than ever. I 51 what I should do after this, and decided some weeks later that I could not 52 myself spending the rest of my days dealing with machines. So one evening, I hesitatingly (犹豫地) told my parents that I wanted to 53 to school. They were greatly surprised and a little afraid, but they did not try to persuade me not to. They wanted to know if I was 54 , and if I knew what it meant and 55 I realized that if I gave up my job training, it would be very difficult to get a good job. But nothing could stop me, and they asked about the matter no further.
