Music is one of the arts. It is like the speaking language, but it uses sounds. Who invented music? Who sing the first song? No one knows exactly the answers of these questions. But we know that music play an important part in almost everyone’s life. Baby and young children love to hear people singing to them. When they are a little old, they like to sing the songs they have heard. When children go to the school, their world of music grows. In the middle grades students take music lessons. I’m a student come from a remote and poor village. Let me share you a touching story about my teacher, Ren Ying, which is in a wheelchair. She caught a serious disease and lose her ability to move in 1986, but she failed the college entrance examinations because of the handicap. After attempt suicide twice, she began self-study. Later, she run a school for children in the village. He has been a teacher and a headmaster for 12 years. Now our school has 6 grade and 200 students.

One day, my whole family went to climb the big hill. My father and mother
told my elder sister and I that the first one to get on the top of the hill would be
give a toy. Hear this, we began to run up. At first I kept ahead, but a few minutes
ago my sister was ahead me. However, I didn’t give up. I reached the top first in
the end. We enjoy the beautiful scenery and had a picnic on the top of the hill, I

Last weekend I went to the Summer Palace as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went to see that was happening. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many people were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.
I was proud what I had done. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else in need.

When we got up in the morning every day, we start our daily routine: washing our faces,
brushing our teeth and maybe take a bath. When you do so, do you ever think that there is
enough water or not? One thirds of the 4.4 billion people in the developing world has no way to
clean drinking water. Water-relating diseases kill 10,000 to 20,000 children every day in the
developing world. What comes our minds when we read these numbers? Do you think we are
lucky or not? In a fact, the outlook for the future, even for us, are not very bright. So let us value
our water as much as possibly not only for ourselves, but also for our children.
