Samaranch served as the president of the International Olympic Committee for twenty-one years.
During his term, he promote the development of the Olympic Games but rescued the organization from the financial crisis in the 1970s. He tried their best to work for the organization and he also cared and supported the physical cause of China. The old man did a lot of works to help China to succeed in hold the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In April 21, 2010, Samaranch died of heart attack in Barcelona, Spain, which he was born. We will always remember the old man, who made great contributions for the Olympic Games.

As an English beginner, I found difficult to read fast. It was because whenever I read I always try to translate every English word or sentence into Chinese after I could understand it. As a result of, it usually took me over 10 minutes to finish read a passage. To get it over, I read a lot. Firstly, you read the passage fast and answered the questions within six minutes. Secondly, I checked the answer to see which of them were wrong. Then I look up only those key new words to seeing why they were wrong. By this way, I have improved my reading speed a lot.

student in middle school. She wrote it so she wanted to thank him for the greatly
influence he had on her life. She wrote, “You were the teacher who helped me

I told him the truth. Then Mary lent me some money, with that I lived through the terrible week.
Every morning Steve went to work by train. As he has a long trip，he always buys newspaper. It helps make the time passing more quickly. One Tuesday morning，he turned over the sports page. He wanted to see the report about an important football match the night before. The report was so interesting that he forgot to get off at his station. He did not know it unless he saw the sea. He got off at the next station，but had to wait a long time for a train to go back. It was no doubt that he arrived late at the office. His boss was angry when Steve told to him why he was late.“Work is very important than football!” he shouted.
