The day when the jobs were handed out was one of the most exciting moments for all the children in the class. It took place during the first week of the term. Every kid was given a job for which they would be responsible for the rest of that school year.
Some jobs were more interesting than others, and the children were eager to be given one of the best ones. Last week when I was sitting in my office，I heard an elderly lady talking on the phone about her husband．Her husband’s name was Ed．He dropped her off for her doctor’s appointment and was going to park the car and wait for her．She was so upset that she started to cry．I knew I should take action．

When women sit together to watch a movie on TV, they usually talk simultaneously(同时地) about a variety of subjects, including children, men, careers and what’s happening in their lives. When groups of men and women watch a movie together, the men usually end up telling the women to shut up.
