Yang Liwei was born from an ordinary family in Liaoning
Province in 1965. He became the pilot in Chinese Air Force
in 1987, spend 1,350 hours in the air. He has spent 5 years
training to become a spaceman. He sent into space at 9 a.m on
the October 15th by China’s Shenzhou V spacecraft, that orbited
earth 14 times. He landed safe at 6:23 a.m the next day,
making China the third country successfully sending a person
into space before the former Soviet Union and the USA.
Yang Liwei comes back to the earth after a 21-hour trip
to space. In space Yang recorded to everything he saw and
showed China’s national flag to the people watching on TV.

Last summer holiday, I go to Dalian with my parents. We traveled there on
air. Dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. In morning, we arrived at the hotel.
After breakfast, we began us tour. First, we took a bus to Sea Park. There were such
many different kinds of fish that I couldn’t believe my eye. Then we had lunch in a
restaurant. The seafood, which is well-known, was delicious. After lunch we went
swim. During this trip, we also went to another places of interest. Several days later,
we left for Dalian. We felt very happily. This was the reason why we didn’t feel tired.

A boy who was cleaning the shoes in the street said to a young man passed by,“Let me clean your boots. It just spends you only a penny.”But the man refused. Then the boy told him that he will clean his boots for nothing. The man agreed, and soon one of the boot shone brightly. Dear Mrs Winthorp,
So my first week at college is over! No lectures this morning so I think I’d email you and let you know what things are going. I’m glad to say that anything has worked out fine in the dorm. I remember asking for a room as far away from the lifts as possible and they find me a comfortable one on second floor. There are two girls from my course here and I plan to make friend with them so that we can help each other on the course work. Everyone else seems very nice and warmly here. Well, I had better to stop now. I’m going to attend mine first lesson this afternoon, for I’ve got some preparations to make. Keep in touch.
