As students, we have classes from early morning till late afternoon. Therefore,
take a ten-minute break between class is very important. Otherwise we may feel both
physically or mentally tired. During the ten-minute break we did something to get rid
of tiredness. What we need is to have real rest instead of getting even tired. So don’t
do anything that will make you too much excited. My ten-minute break is always
pleased. I usually do some simple exercises. Sometime I have a free chat with my
classmates or just take a walk during the break. When the new class begins, I feel
freshly again.

My brother Tom was very selfish when he was a little boy. He didn't want share things with other people. For an example，when he bought a chocolate cake，he put them in a secret place. Then he eats it all by himself. He never helped other. He said he is busy. That is，a game of tennis making him very busy. He didn't care if something he did made people angrily. For instance，on a cold night he played strong and loudly music till 4 o'clock in the morning. But he is difference now. He often helps Grandma with housework，Mom with cooking and his classmates with their lessons.

Rowena and Billy Wrangler are model high school students and do extreme well in achievement tests. And next year, Rowena will attend Harvard University. Tom and Jack are next door neighbours who all work in same office, so they often walk together to and from office. One afternoon, they were walking to home together while it started to rain. Tom quickly opened his umbrella and said proud, “My wife really has great foresight (远见). She said this morning it will rain and told me carry my umbrella with me.” Jack smiled and walked closely to him under the protection of Tom’s umbrella and said, “My wife has even great foresight.He didn’t let me carry mine and told me to use yours.”

Recently our class have had a discussion about if it is necessary for middle school students read English classics. Different students have different opinion. 80% of the students think it necessary to read English classics. By reading classics you can enlarge our vocabulary and improve our reading skills. In addition, we learned a lot about western culture. And 20% of the students don’t think so. In their opinion, English classics are bored and difficult to understand. On my opinion, classics are examples of great writing and wisdom. Reading them can help us improving our English as well as enrich our knowledge. So that we should try to read some classics whenever possible.
