My friend Nick told me story about his experience back in the US. which was very interested. One day he was having a yard sale and the old man living next door come by to help. As the old man looked over the things on the yard that were to be sold he stopped at a box of golden ball for Christmas trees. On the box was a card Say: “25 cents each..” “You will never sell these for that much.” he told Nick. Convinced , Nick has brought the price up to 10 cents a piece. Without a moment’s delay, my neighbor pricked up the box but announceed:” I ’ll take them.”

I love camping. It is my favoritest way to spend the summer vacation. Last year, my family and I went camping in the countryside. It was one of the most excited experiences I had never had. We slept in a tent and went on a long walk every day. We cook over a fire and the food always tasted wonderfully. For a whole week, I saw lovely mountain views or breathed fresh air. At night, I heard the gentle wind blowing in the tree, and I felt so peaceful. It doesn’t cost many to camp, and what I believe it’s the best way to get close nature and enjoy its beauty.

In the summer holiday, we travelled to Qingdao and paid visit to my uncle there. It’s a long and bored journey. But the moment I arrived, I fall in love with the city. It’s such beautiful a city that I can hardly find any word to describe it.The streets are cleaning and the sky is blue. If you walk along the coast, you can feel the wind to blowing on your face. The sea is vast and sometimes you can find a boat or a ship. You may also do some fishing as far as it is permitted. Moreover, I think the driver there drive too fast in the street. I still remember the morning. My father suddenly wake me up at about 5 and the sky was still gray. I jumped out bed, surprised and extreme happy, for we were going to get a book! Recently I have read an article in a magazine. It was about the mother who was worried about her son just because of he always kept his hair long. The mother thought that was not right, but the son felt there was nothing unusually about it. Different generations have different opinion on the same thing. That is what is meaning by "the generation gap". We can see them in our daily lives. Most of our parents like listening to old songs when young people prefer pop songs. Every time my father finds me listen to rock music, he always shouted, "Shut it off. It's awful!" How can we deal the generation gap?

Friday evening.
Today I’d like to tell you anything about riding a bike in London. If you visit London, you’ll see many buses, cars or bikes. It’s very cheap and quick to use bike. If you take a bus, I often have to wait for an hour or so. Besides, the buses move very slowly. The underground is quickly but expensive and often crowded. I used to travel to work by bus. I was often late, and tiring. Then a friend suggested we went to work by bike. I followed him. Although we went slowly, but we always arrived on time. Taking a bus takes 50 minutes, while ride a bike only half an hour. Now I love riding to work and I feel more better.
