This morning I went to the railway station buy a ticket for my mother. At the station, I was told that an old lady had all her money stole and was unable to buy a ticket to go home. I felt sorry for her , and I took out my money and give it to her. I was happy that I had helped person in trouble, and I had no more money to buy a ticket for Mother. On my way home, I wondered what I should say to Mother. When I got home, I told her what happened . To my great joy, Mother didn’t get anger at all. Instead, she praised me for that I had done.

It was Grandpa’s birthday party. It was not easy to have his children and grandchildren all back home together. so they just busied themselves in playing their cellphones, totally ignored their grandpa, who let in a deep sigh and left the party.
There is no doubt whether cellphones have a negative impact on our lives. Heavy use of cellphones actually widen the distance between teenagers and their elders, leaving the elders more lonely. Worsely still, addiction to cellphones might also lead to teenagers’ poor performance at school, which adds up to elders’ worries.
As far as I was concerned, it’s necessary to limit the time we spend using cellphones. And I attach great importance to communicate with our family members face to face, which helps build a harmony family atmosphere.

As for myself, it isn’t difficult to grow into a responsible member of society. I still remember an accident that takes place on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to school and was waiting the green light at a crossroad when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, it drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to a girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Fortunately, she was not badly injured but we sent her to the nearest hospital. Comparing with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did. As a member of society, I am aware of that being responsible is that it takes to make a better society.

Even today, a man with good manner will politely open the door for a lady, help her put on her coat when necessary and see her safely to the door of her home before a date. When a man takes a woman out for a dinner, it is considered impolite to help her with her chair when she gets up or sits down. On a crowding train or bus, it is proper for a man offer a woman his seat, particular if she is old or carries a baby. Even when it comes to shake hands, ladies come first. I used to be a shy girl in my primary school. I was too weak in English at that time, especially in speaking English that I was afraid to answer the teacher’s questions during English classes. Before I entered into middle school, something changed. I started to read many interesting story and my English teacher was patiently with me and helped me a lot. I studied hard in class and practiced by watching English films and listen to English songs in my free time. Little by little, I found that more and more interesting to learn English. I can even talk with my classmates fluently in English and I was shy any more. At last, I got high grades in English and had confidence to do it better in the future.

My grandfather and I enjoy fishing.
One Sunday morning we go fishing at a lake. We took ours fishing poles and headed for the lake.As soon as we arrived, so we dropped the lines into the water.Before waiting for about half an hour, I was beginning to get impatiently, I wanted to give up, and my grandfather told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there were a sudden pull at the pole and fish was caught. Within the next few minute, my grandfather also caught a fish.
Felt hungry, we built a fire by the lake and barbecued the fish. It was delicious.
