Christie was one of my best friend at my high school. At that time, we often spend time together. Thank to her help, I made a great progress in my study. Last year, she decided to study aborad. In another words, we would be separated for a long time. Before her leaving, I prepared a gift to show my best wishes to him. She said it was the best gift she has ever had. APEC, short of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, is a summit forum for the member leaders to discuss the problems concerned the economic development of the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr. Bob Hawke—-the former Prime Minister of Australia proposes the idea of APEC in 1989. That year, 12 leaders from the Asia-Pacific country met in Canberra, that was the beginning of APEC. Up to now, there are a total of 21 economies in a family of APEC. In 1991, China officially joined in APEC. The purpose of establishing APEC are to achieve the sustainable economic growth in the Asia-Pacific circle and build a harmony community among the Asia-Pacific countries. By advocating free trade and exploring new markets for raw materials and farm products, APEC promotes the economic integration of the Asia-Pacific rim but broadens the foreign investment areas.

I believe that everybody can cook themselves something well to eat.Cook is actual a lot easier than most of we think. Last Sunday my parents were away in business. I was left alone at home with no one to cook for me. So I had a good chance to cook myself wonderful meal. Early in the morning I went to the market, bought some beef and tomato and then came back. Before cooking, I put some oil, salt and a little pepper on the beef but mixed them together. When the pan was hot enough, I begin to fry the beef. Then I cooked some tomato soup. The food was tasted delicious!
