My hometown is a small village. Small as it is, but it’s very beautiful. There are a number of hill around my hometown and they are very beautiful. In spring, we fly kites are made by themselves on the top of the hills. The kites fly very highly. In summer, the trees and grass are green and the flowers are bright on the hills. Beside, the wild apples are nice to eating. In autumn, corns at the foot of the hills are ripe. In winter, when it snows, something is covered with snow. We play with snow and made snowmen. In my hometown there are blue sky, fresh air, sweet water and kind people. I love my hometown!
Should I choose a good major or a good university? Senior three student will

prefer to consider majors first so that they can learn what they are interested. It will
also make it possible for them to do their favorite jobs in the future. Therefore, those
who think differently believed that the environment is more important to one’s
development. They also believe that students graduate from leading universities are
often more possible to find a good job. Honest, the best choice is to choose a good
major at a good university. But if we can obtain both, the first thing to consider is a
good major, because no matter where we study, they can still achieve a lot in a certain
field if we try our best.

I often dream of being a teacher. I dream of standing in the platform in the classroom and give lessons to lovely boys and girls. I teach them, play with them, but watch them growing up. I am always young when I was staying with them. I know there is not easy to be a teacher. You have to learn in order to teach. Without enough knowledges, you can never teach good. What is more, you have to make friends with your pupils and take good care of him. Only in this way can you be good teacher and win respect from them. Though I am a student now, but I will work very hard to make my dream come true.

I am writing to ask for whether you are able to do me a favor. I want to have a pen pal, hopefully a girl in the early twenties, and with interests similarly to mine. In my mind, he is someone interesting in traveling, swimming, and playing table tennis. Beside, it will be better for her to have a pet dog as I have been keeping one at home for some time. With such pen pal, I hope I can share with her my experiences in traveling, taking care of pets, or whichever we have in common. I believed I will improve my English by doing so and learning more about her country. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Dr Yuan is quite satisfying with his life. However, he didn’t care about being famous. He feels it gives him less freedom to do her research. He would much rather keeping time for his hobbies. He enjoys listening to violin music, playing mah-jong, swimming and read. Spending money in himself or leading a comfortable life also mean very little to him. Indeed, he believes in that a person with too much money has more rather than few troubles. He therefore gives millions of yuan equip others for their research in agriculture.
