Dear editor,
I’m a college student and I’ll graduating in half a year. I’m very worried about my future, because find a good job is so much difficult. At the moment, my parents want me to be a teacher, and I don’t like that idea. During my holiday break, I work part-time as a tour guide in my hometown. I liked job very much. But my parents didn’t agree with me. They thought the work was difficulty, even though one could make a lot of money. That is the most important to me is that being a tour guide won’t take me far from home. I always consider what my parents say, but it’s hard for me to take a decision . The winter holiday is coming, which made me excited. I have been looking forward at relaxing myself. I’d like to go skating, climb mountains and see several movie. I think I can play the basketball with my classmates. How a wonderful time I’ll have during the winter holiday! However, my parents think different. They don’t want me go out. They are afraid I’ll be knocked down by a truck, fallen off a tree, or fight with others. Beside, they are afraid I will lose my way. I hate being treated like a bird keeping in a cage. With the growing popularity of the Internet, more and more children are addicted to play online games day and night. It does harm not only to their health, especial their eyes, but also to their studies.
Comparing with online games, many traditional games, like hide-and-seek, benefits kids mentally and physically. They were ever popular to several generations, which not only learned something valuable but also had fun playing the games. Therefore, the games are dying away now.
Personally, I think teachers and parents should take measure to limit their children's Internet time. Let children to know the harm of online games and the benefits of traditional games. Help children judge healthy and unhealthy games. What's more, we should often organize events for children in which traditional games played.

I was only 12 when we moved to California. I remember that I enjoyed flying non-stop across a whole country and that I wasn’t very happy about leave my friends. But Dad think it’d be good for we all to live in a suburb instead in the middle of a city. And Uncle Jeff, his brother, who’d been living in California for about 20 years, were always telling us how wonderful California it was. He said it would be easily for Dad to get a job driving a taxi, that had been Dad’s job in New York. But we all agreed to try it for one year. Now we’ve been here for four years, and we all love it.

I love camping. It is my favoritest way to spend the summer vacation. Last year, my family and I went camping in the countryside. It was one of the most excited experiences I had never had. We slept in a tent and went on a long walk every day. We cook over a fire and the food always tasted wonderfully. For a whole week, I saw lovely mountain views or breathed fresh air. At night, I heard the gentle wind blowing in the tree, and I felt so peaceful. It doesn’t cost many to camp, and what I believe it’s the best way to get close nature and enjoy its beauty.

Patience is of great importance in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. Thirty minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possible waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience, I’ll think of this experience.
