My first stay ay home alone was unusual. When I was twelfth, once my parents were away on the business, and I was all by myself for two days. My parents left earlier the first day, and I got up soon after they leave. On the first evening I was a little scaring, so I turned on the lights. I kept the light on in my bedroom the whole night. For fear of got up late the next morning, I put 3 alarm clock at my bedside and set the alarms for 6:10, and 6:15. At first, I was not qu
ite willing to sit down and watched the 90-minute football match.
Usually I just checked the results because I thought that was dull to watch a game in that players
kicked a ball to each other. Therefore, my father loves football. During the World Cup in 2006,
my dad stays up late just to watch his favourite sport. Seeing him strongly interest in this game of
22 men run after a ball, I decided to sit down to watch the game. I found game exciting, and my
dad explained for the rules. We shared our joy. Football is not too badly as long as I watch it with
my dad!

A boy who was cleaning the shoes in the street said to a young man passed by, “Let me clean your boots. It just spends you only a penny.” But the man refused. Then the boy told him that he will clean his boots for nothing. The man agreed, and soon one of the boot shone brightly. Then he put the other boot on the box, and the boy refused to clean it if he was paid two pence for his work. The young man refused pay anything and went away. But the well-cleaning boot made the dirty one so bad that he could not walk on. He returned back and gave the boy two pence.

Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine; so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know which one to buy, because these books were all useful to me. At last, I chose two. At 10:00, we went to the cinema. The film calling Titanic was very popular. I live in a very old town which is surrounding by beautiful woods. It is a famous beauty spot. In Sundays, hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods. Visitors have asked to keep the woods clean and tidy. Litter baskets have been placed under the trees, and people still throw their rubbish everywhere. Last Wednesday, I go for a walk in the woods. That I saw made me very sad. I counted seven old cars and three old refrigerators. The litter basket were empty and the ground was covered with pieces of paper, cigarette ends, old tyres, empty bottles or rusty tins. Among the rubbish, I found a sign which was said, “Anyone who leave litter in these woods will be punished!”
