Today, the English language has different variety. As matter of fact, there are no significant differences between them. These varieties tend to be resemble either the American or British English. For example, Australian English general uses the same spelling like British English. Meanwhile, they had their own ways of pronouncing words, their own special vocabulary and even their own grammatical rules. For example, in British English, you can say, “I haven’t any money.” So in American English you’d say, “I don’t have some money.” So it was said by Bernard Shaw what England and America are two countries separate by the same language.

One day, I was cooking in the kitchen while the telephone rang. I went to answer it immediate. She was my close friend, Lisa. When we were talking on a phone, the fire alarm sounded. When we had our class, our psychology teacher would take any liquid medicine from a tiny bottle. This touched the whole classes. We thought that he should ask for leave and stayed at home for a rest, so he came to each class on time. Therefore, all of us studied psychology hard than we did any other subject. In the end of that term, we told him that how much we appreciated him. We were so worrying about her health that we asked him what disease he got and what medicine he took. With satisfied smile, he said, “I'm quite all right and it's a bottle of tea.”

Last Tuesday, the Students' Union in our school advised that Senior Three students shall do something specially for their parents on their 18th birthdays. All the students are active in responding it and most of them have come up with their ideas. Some choose to write a letter saying it's best way to express their appreciations as well as love for their parents. Others will prefer to cook a big meal to show that they've already grown up.
As for me, I want to do up hair and wash feet for my parents. By doing which my parents have been doing for me I can really know how much they've devoted to bring me up. Being 18 years old mean that we should learn to be independent and that we should be responsible for us.
