Dear classmates，

My hair was used to be very long.I dreamed of donating it to sick children which had lost their hair. My teacher has donated her hair, so I wanted to donate mine, either. My dream came true last Christmas. After I told my teacher I was ready donate my hair, she praised me. Then we paid the visit to a hairdresser.The hairdresser cut 20 inch from my long hair and styled what was left. It was hard to say good-bye to my hair, so to help others made me feel happily. Now I’d like to introduce our English paper to you. On my opinion, the paper is very importance to our study and daily life. We can improve our English, especially writing English by reading it and writing. At the same time, it’s a fun and relaxing to read it, it makes our after-class time meaningful and colorful. There is a lot of columns in our paper, such as School News, Teachers’ Advice and Students’ Voice. Not only it make us learn the important events of our school, but helps ourselves communicate with teachers. However, we can take the advices from our teachers more seriously. In a word, I like our paper very much.

Three years ago I became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom，I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Beside, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided to make the best of it. I worked hardly and got along well my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they are always available. Soon, I became one of the top students in my classes, that greatly increased my confidence and I got more motivated. My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make a use of it what determines who you are.

How is everything going? Today I'd like to tell you something more about our school sports meeting. It was holding on Oct.6, which was a fine day. There were over 1,000 students and teachers attend it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-meter race. He finish the race in 12.6 seconds and broke in the school record. The sports meeting was really success. That was because we were all trying to do my best. Although I was not one of the winner, I was proud of that we had done.
