In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. An old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

In recent years many flowers shops have been appeared in our small town. It is common for people to buy flowers when they go to a gathering, visiting a sick friend, or attend a wedding or birthday party. I still remember clear one day last year when Tom, a disabled student, presented some flowers to his mother to express his gratitude for her. He owing his entire life to his mother’s kind and care. With her he would not have had the confidence or the courage to fight his disability. As a result the great effort he has made, he was finally admitted to a key university.

I’m much sorry that I can’t go back home for Mother’s Day next week. This is why I have to go to an important meeting for my boss, who helps me a lot my work and life here. But I’ll find time to seeing you soon. Mom, thank you for which you have done for Tim and me. After Dad died ten year ago, you had to work in a supermarket in the daytime and in a restaurant at the night. Though you don’t have to work now, I can still remember when you came home, you always felt tiring. Tim said he will look for a job near our home.
