The United States Naval Academy offers 21 majors, and the dropout rate is less than five percent. This school is difficult, but anyone can pass if they’re willing to work hard. It takes four years to earn a bachelor’s and more for a master’s degree, depending on what you want to study. In addition, cadets are trained to have discipline. During the summer, they can join overseas units for training.
D. The University of Delaware has over 16,000 undergraduates and almost 3,000 graduate students in a midsize college town atmosphere. Even with so many students, U of D still provides the highest quality undergraduate education available. The University of Delaware has over 100 majors for undergraduates, ranging from accounting to wildlife conservation. It also has world-class programs in business, chemical engineering, and biotechnology. It is one of only four schools in North America with a major in art conservation.
If academics aren’t all you want in a college, the University of Delaware has many athletic programs too. Its 23 varsity sports compete in the NCAA Division I.
E. Bennett College is a small, private, historically black liberal arts school for women founded in 1873. The college offers an education conducive to excellence in scholarly pursuits; preparation for leadership roles in the workplace, society; and the world; and life-long learning in a technologically advanced, complex global society.

The learning environment will prepare students for life after college. Researchers have already made cows, sheep, and goats that pump out protein drugs in their milk. But chickens are not expensive to take care of; what’s more, they need less room, and grow faster than these other animals. “”says Simon Lillico of the Roslin Institute near Edinburgh, Scotland.
Lillico and a team of researchers changed chickens’ DNA—the code that tells cells how to make proteins so that the birds’ cells made two protein drugs.
The scientists altered the chickens’ DNA so that the birds made these drugs only in their egg whites (蛋清). This protects the chickens’ bodies from the drugs’ possible harmful effects and makes it easy for scientists to collect the drugs.
These special chickens can pass on their drug-laying abilities to their chicks. The scientists need to improve these chickens before they roost (栖息) in drug companies’ labs. Amazon Introduces a Digital Music Locker
Amazon.com, plans to introduce a service that will let people upload their digital music to the Web from anywhere.
The service, known as a music locker, was made available to Amazon account holders early Tuesday．Amazon will offer a Web-based hard drive backup service called Cloud Drive, where people can store documents, photos, videos and music．
It will also offer Cloud Player, which will let people listen to, download and make play lists from the music they store on Cloud Drive from any Web site or from an app on Android devices．Cloud Player will automatically upload songs bought on Amazon．One key difference is that Google and Apple reportedly want to automatically make all the music that a user owns available to stream on other instruments, while Amazon will require that people upload music, except songs they buy on Amazon, to access it elsewhere．
The dream of these companies, along with many start-ups, is for people to be able to listen to their music from any computer or phone．Several experts in digital music say that the music locker business is still legally ambiguous．
Amazon says it has avoided the problem, because its users would upload their songs, in MP3 to the cloud-based service, just like backing them up on an external （outside） hard drive or a Web-based computer backup service．
Companies, including Google and Spotify have been forced to delay introducing certain services while they negotiate with the music labels and publishers．
