I have made a new friends recently. His name is Jackson, and he is from the America. How did we get to know each other? You may think we are pen-friends, and you are wrong. We actually have never written to each other before we met. Here is the story. A week before, there was a summer camp in our school. Some American students came to join in us. I was very good on English, especially spoken English, so I was chosen to take part this camp. Jackson was very interesting in Peking Opera, and I liked it, too. A visitor visits an island where two tribes live. One tribe always tells the truth and an other always lies. The truth tellers live on the western side of the island, and those which lie live on the eastern side. The visitor wants determine whether the native beside he is a truth teller or not by ask only one question. Although most people have a family, in their darkest moments many will turn to nobody they consider “a true friend” for support and advice. But what make someone “a true friend”, rather than just a good friend?
A true friend will always try harder help. They will be sensitive to their feelings and will not criticize you. They will offer help without being asking and will never expect anything in return.
A true friend will put aside whichever they are doing to come and see you if you are in seriously trouble. They will offer their support in your need, as if everyone else in the world is against you. If you don’t have many friends, but you have one true friend, and you are very lucky. But remember, if you have a true friend, you have to be his true friend too. True friend give as well as take.
