Last Sunday I went to Beijing National Stadium. At gate I happened to meet some young America tourists. I greeted to them in English and then we began to chat. From the chat I learned that they were college students traveling in Beijing but most of them were fond of Chinese culture. They were busy taking pictures and they seem to be much impressed by the changes which had been taken place in the past few years. After come out of the Stadium, we went to the Water Cube and had a good time there. We exchanged our email address so that we could keep touch with each other later. They thanked us again and again. I was very glad to have the chance to practise my oral English.

Beside, my classmates offer me a lot of help, either. We get on well to each other and I have made quite a few good friend. At home, Walter’s parents take good care of me, treating to me as if I were their own child.

I went to a shop to buy a jacket one Sunday. It is famous one where there are a variety of clothes. I looked all around and finally find an attractive jacket. When I was asked the price, the assistant said, "Seventy dollars." He added that if I paid by cash, he would give me a discount – ten percent off the fixing price. I thought it was so expensive and started to leave. As I was left, he grabbed me and said, "Okay. Forty-five dollars." Delighting, I bought the jacket. However, when I got home and tried on my new jacket, I realized that anything was wrong with it. It had a pocket where wouldn't open. I was speechless and looked at it in amazement.
