Great changes have been taken place in the way people communicate with each other. In the past people write letters to share informations and later they talked with each other in the telephone. I saw the worst storm in years on last Friday. It came down suddenly but lasted for more than three hour. After lunch, I went into my room to have rest. The air was hot and everything that was quiet. I’m afraid that giving them money isn’t best way to help them. Maybe the government can take some action to helping them. My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing
last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortably double-room with a big bath. What I liked best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices, and we enjoyed several local dish. It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.

Today is my Dad’s birthday. This afternoon I went to the shopping center downtown and bought present for him. Then I take the subway train home. Sitting on the train, I thought my dad would be very happy when I saw the present. At the next station, an old lady with two heavy bags got in the train and stood in the front of me. She looked tiredly. I hesitated for a moment, and then offered my seat to hers. The old lady thanked me a lot and seated down. Seen her smile, I felt happy. I will always be ready to help other in the future.
