One night, I was on my home for my Christmas holiday when my car broke down. It was complete dead, and I was a few miles away from my home in that cold, wet night. I decided to walk around a little after accepting that I’d have to spend the night in the car. Maybe I can find a telephone. Actually, I didn’t have to walk far before I found the small house standing in a field with a light shone from the sitting room. I knocked the door was delighted when a pleasant old man opened the door and listened to my story carefully. Unlike most of the flight I’ve taken on this trip, the journey from Melbourne to Sydney was thankful short. One hour! It’s much more hotter here in Sydney than in Melbourne, it is strange because I travel from south to north instead of north to south. Things really are upside down below the equator(赤道).
The Sydney Festival is fascinated, and I’m having a marvelous time go to all the art and film shows. It’s going on all mouth, and there’s so much to choose. Best of all, it’s not just in one location, but all over the city, because it’s a great way for me to explore Sydney.

I am a 18 year-old middle school student. I have been busy in my study and seldom helped my parents with the houseworks. Feeling quite sorry for that, and I begin to think about what to do to help. Christie was one of my best friend at my high school. At that time, we often spend time together. Thank to her help, I made a great progress in my study. Last year, she decided to study board. In another words, we would be separated for a long time. Before her leaving, I prepared a gift to show my best wishes to him. She said it was the best gift she has ever had. From then on, we’ve kept touch with each other through e-mails. I look forward to see her again in the near future.
