Last Monday morning, our English teacher told us to put our writing book on the desk so that he could check them. Honest speaking, I really wondered what would happen that if he found out I did not finish his homework. So I took out my Chinese writing book instead of my English book. When the teacher found this out, I pretended to be very surprising, “Oh, I’m very sorry, but I think that was my English book because they have a same cover. I can take my English writing book to school in the afternoon!” On listening this, the teacher said, “OK!” I narrowly escaped punished. Now I realize I was wrong.

My parents and I went to the park on last Sunday. There were lots of visitors stood in front of the ticket window. We waited a long time and buy three tickets. In the Tiger Mountain of the park, I was too eager to see the fierce frightened animals that I quickened my steps through the crowd. Unfortunate, I got separated from my parents. I had hard time looking for him, but I had no luck. Wandering in the park, I felt alone without any companions. Worse still, I had no money, so I had to walk home, covered as much as 5 kilometers.

I have a plenty of plans for the winter vacation. But my friend Wang Lin doesn’t have any. She just stays at home watching TV. “Don’t you look forward reading good books during the vacation?” I ask her this morning. Without taking her eyes on the TV screen, she replied, “No.” I felt very worry when I heard what he said. Though we should relax during the winter vacation, I don’t think it is the good idea to relax through watching TV. Watching TV all the time not only wastes our time but also harm our healthy. I do hope Wang Lin will spend less time during the vacation watch TV.

It is good to see that today more people have realized the importance exercising and are playing sports regular. But the problem is that there are not enough sports facilities to meet the public growing demand. I love playing basketball and often play with my friends on weekends. Therefore, it is difficult to rent a basketball field and impossible to find a free one. It seems that all courts in the city were always full. Weather permitted, we can play in outdoors. But on rainy days or in winter we have to turn to indoor courts. There are not much in my city, and the charge is expensive. The government should build more public sports facilities, so easier accesses will encourage more people to participate in sports.

Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with
my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know what one to buy because these books were all useful to me. At 10:00, we went to cinema. The film was called The Earthquake of Tangshan but some people were waiting outside the booking office. It took us about two hours to see it. Having been seen the film, everyone was deeply moving. Some of my friends even burst into tear. That’s a really wonderful film. It is very worth seeing.
What a happy day! I hope tomorrow I will be even happier.
