How are you? As a exchange student, I am writing to tell you I would prefer to move into a single room in next term, as I find it inconvenient to share a room with others. My roommate often held parties at night, made much noise. Besides, his friends are always visiting him, that disturbs me a lot. So I hope to draw your attentions to this problem. If you think in my position, I am sure he will agree that the only solution for me is get a room of my own, one not in the same building and as near to the school campus as possible. I would be gratefully if you could do me the favor.

Travelled abroad, you should follow the customs of the country where you are visiting. When you invited, it is good manners to refuse or accept the invitation, either by writing nor by telephoning. If you will go to the party, it is polite to arrive on time. It is good manners to shake hand with your host. You can bring a present if you like, possible a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and some flowers. However, it was not bad manners to take nothing. It is not polite to stay too late before the other guests have gone. Also, it is suggested to write or telephone a day or two late to thank your host.

One day I was on my way to home. When I was around the corner of street, I came across one of my friend Mary. We hadn’t seen each other for three years. I was so exciting that I invited her to have lunch with me and she agreed. She went into a small restaurant and had a meal. However, I found I have left my wallet at home. In the end I couldn’t pay a bill and she had to do so after we left. I felt sorry, and said to my friend, “Coming home with me in a taxi, but I will give you a present in return.”

Last Sunday we had a party. During the party, I making my way to the bathroom and closed the door behind me. A minute or two late, a little girl which was well dressed opened a bathroom door and walked in. I am still sitting! “Don’t you know if that little girls aren’t supposed to come into the bathroom when a little boy is using it?’’I shouted . The little girl was very shocking at my being there. Then she started to cry. She quick closed the door, ran to the kitchen, and tearfully complained her parents and my grandmother. I believe that everybody can cook themselves something well to eat.Cook is actual a lot easier than most of we think. Last Sunday my parents were away in business. I was left alone at home with no one to cook for me. So I had a good chance to cook myself wonderful meal. Early in the morning I went to the market, bought some beef and tomato and then came back. Before cooking, I put some oil, salt and a little pepper on the beef but mixed them together. When the pan was hot enough, I begin to fry the beef. Then I cooked some tomato soup. The food was tasted delicious!
