I ran into a stranger as he passed by. "I'm so 36 !" was my reply. Then he said, "Excuse me too. I wasn't even 37 you" .We were very polite, this stranger and I.

That night, as I lay 42 in bed, God's quiet voice spoke to me and said, "While 43 with a stranger, you're calm and polite, but with those you love, you're quick to 44 . Go and look right now on the kitchen floor. You'll 45 some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers she brought for you. She 46 them herself. She stood there _ 47 , not to spoil your surprise, and you never saw the tears in her eyes." 48 this time, I felt sad and my own tears had begun to 49 . "Are these the flowers you picked for me?" I asked. She 50, "I found them out by the tree. 1 knew you'd like them." I said, "I'm so sorry that I 51 them today. And I shouldn't have shouted at you that way." She whispered, “Mommy, that's okay... I still love you 52 .” I hugged her.
Are you aware that if you die tomorrow, the company that you are working for could easily 53 you in a matter of days? But the family you leave behind will feel the 54 for the rest of their lives. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the 37 and returned with a large pot of coffee and a couple of 38 ---porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some 39 looking, some expensive, some delicate --- telling them to 40 themselves to the coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in 41 , the professor said :“ If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, 42 behind the plain and cheap ones. Whiles it is normal for you to 43 only the best for yourselves, that is the 44 of your problems and stress. Be assured that the cup itself 45 no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. 46 all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you 47 went for the best cups… And then you began __48___ each other’s cups. Now consider this: Life is the ___49____; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life, and the type of cup we have does not 50 , nor change the quality of life we 51 . Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we 52 to enjoy the coffee God has 53 us. God brews the coffee, not the cups… Enjoy the coffee!”
The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just 54 the best of everything.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the 55 to God.
