During the Christmas break from college, a young man wanted to borrow his father’s car. He was going to a New Year’s Eve 21 to be held in Vermont. I will never forget the year I was about twelve years old. My mother told us that we would not be 1 Christmas gifts because there was not enough money. One day, a poor boy who was trying to pay his way through school by selling goods door to door found that he only had one dime left. He was hungry so he decided to 36a meal at the next house.
