I can’t swim so I have a strong fear of water. Look back at my childhood, I think that three reasons might explain fear. Firstly, I am not allowed to go near the water when I was a child, as my mother had an unreasonable fear of it. Therefore, I was taught to see to the water as something danger. Secondly, my eyes became bad when I was five. If I took off my glass in the water, I couldn’t see something, and this increased my fear. What’s worse, for a child I once saw a neighbor drowned. This summer I visited Yandangshan. When arriving by bus, I caught a sight of many mountains by looking through the mist, one of what was just like a sleeping baby from an angle. Later it looked like a strong man seeing from another.
What impressed me was the sunrise. Stood on the top of the mountain, I saw the sunshine giving out all directions. The green mountain in our eyes, the clouds in the sky, and the shocking expressions on people's faces formed a beautiful picture. As for me, nature hold me totally with its power.
The sceneries there made a great impression to me. I hope to go there again one day.

I’d like tell you something about your life in this boarding school.I stay in a dormitory with three other girls, all of them are kind and nice. We get on well to others and have become good friends. The classes here are very interesting and challenged. I’m still feeling a little dissatisfied with some other thing. In the summer vacation, I paid a visit a mountain village in a suburb of Xi’an. No sooner had I got off the bus when I was greatly surprising to see all the changes. It was far better than I had been expected. Now every family can drink cleanly running water. The villagers needn’t carry water himself any more. Firewood is no longer used for cooking. Marsh gas, a new cheap clean energy, make it very convenient to cook and light. As all the families have color TV set, they can enjoy plays at home. It impressed me most was that the best building in a village was the school. I hope the mountain village will become better and better.

How time flies! I can never forget how I became a good table tennis player. The first day I went to high school, I saw some of my classmates played table tennis. Amazed at how skillful they were, I was determined to play just as good. Later on, I often watch them carefully to learn their techniques.
Then I kept practicing hardly until I became too confident enough to challenge the good players. At the end of term, I became one of the best players in my class. I am really proud for this experience. It helps me realize that I can fulfill our potential but achieve our goals through hard work.
