My friend Tony and I always walk home together after school. Last Friday on our way to home, we heard a loud shout behind us. When we looked around to see what had happened, we found a woman lied on the ground, bleeding. We soon realized that she had knocked down by the car in front of him. We hurried to help her, and a man came over and tried to prevent us
from getting closer to the wounded woman. We got very angrily with the man. How could he stopped us from helping a dying woman? The man asked us to turn around and we were surprised to see a man who were carrying a video camera on his shoulders. In fact, they were just shooting a film!

Once a king asked an artist to paint a picture for him. He told the artist he didn’t want to any shadows in the picture, just sunshine, but the artist did so. When the king saw the finish picture, he was disappointed. Without shadows, everything in the picture looked flat and real. The point of the story was that we need both shadows and sunshine to have a completely picture, just as we need both rain and sun to have living world. People, too, need both sadness and happiness. We often learn important lesson during sad times. So when we feel sad, we should try to stop and think about that we might learn of the experience.

In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. Thanks for you mail. I’m glad to know you are interested in the 2014 Florida Winter Camp. It will be held from January 27 to February 13, during that time you will get wonderful experience. You will have chances to improve your speaking English in the courses providing. Also, activities arranged for you to spend weekends together with your host family, so you can learn American English in authentic situations. However, a trip to the local Disneyland will certainly add up the fun of the camp.

Tsai Qin, whose songs had a great effect on us, was on a brief tour. The next stop was Wenzhou. I looking forward to see her wonderful performance. In the morning of Mar.18th, I set off early to the stadium. When I arrived, I found lots of fans had been gathered in the front rows to get more familiar to Tsai Qin. I held my breath, waited. At last, she turned up. The fans burst into applause. The devotion we showed to a folk queen great touched her as we seemed not to be able to control herself and moved to tears.
