Dear Ken,
I'm very exciting to have received an e-mail from you and I'm glad you had a
wonderfully time during the past summer holiday. Last summer I take a trip to the
countryside with some of my friend. Country life, in my opinion, gave me peace
and quiet, which is what I can't enjoy in big cities. There was river nearby, in that
we went swimming every now and then. You can never imagine what fun it
was to swimming together with friends in the cool, clean river on such hot days.
In fact , I had never been had a better holiday before . I took plenty photos there
and I keep them where I can see them every day as they always reminds me of
my stay in the country.

A boy who was cleaning the shoes in the street said to a young man passed by, “Let me clean your boots. It just spends you only a penny.” But the man refused. Then the boy told him that he will clean his boots for nothing. The man agreed, and soon one of the boot shone brightly. Then he put the other boot on the box, and the boy refused to clean it if he was paid two pence for his work. The young man refused pay anything and went away. But the wellcleaning boot made the dirty one so bad that he could not walk on. He returned back and gave the boy two pence.

First find the good dictionary. There are two kinds of dictionary: those which translates words into other language and those which
explain it in the same language. Choose a dictionary which modern and which uses the kind of English you are now learn.
When you hear and see a new word, do use the dictionary immediately. Try to work out that it means before you look up in
the dictionary. Then look up the word in the dictionary.
