When our six children were young, supper time always interrupted by neighborhood children
ring the bell. They wanted one child or another to go out but play. Finally we had a good idea.
We hanged a sign on the front door that was read：“We are having dinner. Come back later.” That
night, we sat down to what they thought would be a pleased, uninterrupted meal. But as soon as
