Blogs (博客) are the place where young people go to reveal(释放) their souls（灵魂）. Many people enjoy the freedom in blogging. Some, however, find that putting one’s life online can have a price. Recent surveys found that nearly one fifth of teens who have access to the Web have their own blogs. And 38% of teens say they read other people’s blogs. By comparison, about a tenth of adults have their own blogs and a quarter say they read other people’s online journals.

Bringing a giraffe into the world is a tall order. A baby giraffe is born 10 feet high and usually lands on its back. Within seconds it rolls over its legs under its body. Then the mother giraffe rudely introduces its children to the reality of life.

Chuck Wall teaches management and human relations at Bakersfield College. He walked into class one day and told his students that their homework was to perform one act of random(任意的) kindness.
