Today is Sunday .I’ve been in Canada for two months .This is the first time that I had been away from my family for so a long time. With help of Katia, a roommate of mine, I′ve soon got used to live without my parents around. Katia, like many other Russian girls, are nice and lively. We became friends shortly after we meet each other. Although his English is a little hard to understand, we enjoy chatting and we usual talk a lot about our own families. We’re both surprised that Chinese culture and Russian culture are so different. Now, we are planning a small party for the next Sunday. There, Katia will introduce me to some of her friends, one of who has been to China several times. I just can’t wait.
One day I happened to find chat room on QQ,where people were chatting with English.I tried to chat with some of them.To my surprise,I find that the spoken English of some junior students was better than me.I asked them for advices and they told me to practice more on QQ.But every day after school I would spend one hour practice my spoken English on QQ.Day after day I learned much useful words and expressions.As time going by,I found that I could even communicate with some college students free.

I have a good friend who’s name is Liu Mei. She is our monitor and one of the excellent student in our class. Clever as she is, but she works very hard. We have a lot on common and have a lot to talk .One evening she told me that something happened when her parents was out. She was doing her homework one Sunday morning when she smelt something burning. Look out of the window , she find a cloud of smoke coming out of her neighbor’s house . She called 119 immediate. Ten minutes late, the firemen came and put out the fire. Her neighbor was very thankful for her help.
This morning I went to a nearby food store to buy some breads. After the man in the store packing the bread in a small bag for me, I began to walk home with bag in my hand. On the way I met my next-door neighbor, Miss Wang, that was walking her dog .We greeted with each other and begin to talk about the weather. As we were talking, his dog came up at the bag in my hand though the bread gave off a delicious smell. As a result, some of the bread fell to the ground or the dog began to enjoy it. Five minutes late, I was back at the store to buy bread again.
In today’s increasingly competitive world, that is of great importance to keep a positive attitude towards life. It is important because it could help us solve various problems in life. Taking English learning for example. In our efforts to grasp English, mistakes are unavoidable. In the way, mistakes are annoyed, but a positive attitude can make us realize that only making mistakes can we be expected to make progresses.
As we can see it, keeping a good attitude can help us to deal with mistakes correct and find confidence in time of sorrow. However, its importance cannot be denied.
