“Lei Feng” is now part of our language. It means “helping o    ”.If a person is h  , we call him “Lei Feng”.
“Lei Feng was a soldier in the early 1960s. He was born in 1940 in Changsha, Hunan. His family didn’t have much money. When he was seven, his parents died. He became a soldier at the a    of  20.  He had a warm heart and a   helped others.
He said, “To live is to serve the people－live to make others h   . ” He regarded other people a    his family. He gave his own money to other soldiers. He e    washed clothes for others.
Lei lived a s  life. He didn’t often buy new clothes and never wasted things. He loved to study and work.

Today many Lei Feng groups exist in China. They try to help people in needs.
