I was playing at my cousin house. Since his family was rich than mine, he had more toys than I did. There was one on particular I'd always wanted. I put into my pocket when he wasn't looking. This is the first time that I had been away from home, so I find it hard to live here. How I wish I can turn to Lucy, who once gave me much help! I had trouble with my study in Grade 9. So frustrating was I that I began to play computer games after school, when I should have paid more attention to catching up with others. Beside, I was even caught cheating in the exam, it worried my parents a lot. When asking about the reason why I fell far behind, I was too guilty to say a word. It was then Lucy came to my help, telling me not to give up. To my amazement, I made a great progress. Finally, I even became one of the top student in my class. In the past, my hometown was very small. People there lived poor life and the houses.were very old and shabby, even some of which were shaking in the wind. As for the traffic，it was very inconvenient that almost no tourists came.
However, there has been many changes in my hometown until now . Life has become better．The houses become larger and brighter，but more people get their own cars. Everywhere is decorated with green trees and beautiful flowers and grass. What's more，thousands of tourist from the world came here every year, that is really splendid. Thank you for your last letter telling me your recently news. I'd like to tell you something about our school sports meeting. It was holding on October,20th, which was a fine day.
There were over 1,600 students and teachers attend it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-meter race. He finishes the race in 11.2 seconds and broke down the school record. They were all very excited. The sports meeting was great success. That was why we were all making every effort to our class honor. Although I was not one of the winner, I was proud of what we had done.

I am a member of the English Club，which is set up by the Student Union three years before．A lot of teachers and students who are interest in English will gather at the multimedia classroom in every Saturday afternoon．There we usually see English movie，learn to sing English songs but debate on hot topics．Through these activities， we can broaden us horizons and learn about west culture．What’s more，we have great fun being together．The English Club is of great help to me on many ways.
