Every one of us can make a great efforts to
cut off the use of energy in our country. To begin with, all
of us can start reducing to the use of oil by driving only
when we have a real need. That won't be easy, I know，
but we have to start anywhere. What's more, we can go to
work by bike once and twice a week, and we can also buy
smaller cars that burn less oil. Other way is to watch our
everyday use of water and electric at home. For example,

Walter's goal in life was become a successfully doctor. He knew he had to finish high school first, so he puts his heart into his studies — in particular, biology, chemistry, or maths. Because he worked hard at these subjects, Walter became good at it. However, Walter forgot what he needed to master some other subjects besides those he had been chosen. As a result, Walter failed both English and Latin in the end of the second school year. But he had to repeat these subjects and he was almost unable to graduate like planned. Walter learned a good lesson.

Today is Sunday. I didn't get up early as usually. In themorning after I finished my home-work, I do some washing.Then I telephoned one of my classmate and invited himto see a film. And unfortunately, when we got to the cinemaat 3:00 p.m. we found all the tickets had sold out.So we went to our school and played the football.After that, when we were about to go home, we saw ourEnglish teacher, Mr. Wang, came into the school gate. He told us we had made many progress in English this term. He also suggested that we should read more and wrote more.We promised that we would take his advices.
My father is now in his late forty but he looks young for his age. He is very strict with me, especial in my studies. Besides, I know he loves me deeply in his heart. Once I had failed to do well in my math exam, I was afraid that it would make my father angry and disappointing. On contrary, he said I had tried my best and offered him a few words of encouragement. He told me that there is no need to feel bad about one and two failures and the most important thing is to learn anything from failure and never give up.
