Why do we go to university? Different people had different

views. Some students have many dream and regard

universities as best places to realize their dreams. They

think that good jobs and high pay will be from an

university education. So when they enter the university, maybe they

find the university life disappointed. After graduation, many

of they will find the jobs aren’t the ones they like and

the pay is not as higher as they expected. I think that

universities provide good chances for those who are eager to

learn more knowledge so that they can serve for their motherland better.

I saw an accident happened on my way to home this afternoon. A girl was crossing the street on a zebra crossing while a young man drove a motorbike towards her. The young man saw the girl and tried to stop, and he drove too fast to stop. He hit the girl and fell off her motorbike. The girl was badly hurt and couldn’t move. The young man didn’t know how to do. I ran to a phone box nearby and dialed 110. Soon the police reached. They sent her hospital at once. One of the policeman talked to the young man and wrote something down while talking. I think it is real dangerous to drive very fast.

March 11 is a day when I will never forget. I was on my way to home from school that afternoon and hoped that I could get home in time watch my favorite TV program. When I got to the bus stop, I noticed people waiting in line. This great surprised me because people used to push their way onto the bus. Then my bus comes along. Without a second thought, I jumped the queue. The moment when I did that, I heard anyone shouting, “Please queue up.” I turned around but saw a smiling old gentleman signing to me to stand in line. Then she explained that day was “Queue Day”. Heard that, I felt ashamed of my behavior. I know that I will never jump the queue again.

Last Sunday morning, when I was having a walk in the park near my home, I came across a crew make a new film with one of my favourite actor.
I didn’t have my camera
With me at that time, but I rushed back home to get. Unfortunately,
by the time I got back, they have finished the scene and actor couldn’t
be seen everywhere. I was really disappointing and about to leave when
he walked out a building. He was right there in the front of me! I
couldn’t believe my luck-not only did I had my photo taken wuth him, but
he signed his name on my shirt!

Today is Sunday. I’ve been in Canada for two maonths.
This is the first time that I’ve been away my family for such a
long time. With the help of Katia,a roommate of me, I’ve
soon got used to live without my parents around. Katia, like
many other Russian girls, are nice and lively. We become
friends shortly after we meet each other. Although her English
is a little hardly to understand, we enjoy charting and we
usually talk a lot about our own. We are both surprised
that Chinese culture or Russian culture are so different. Now,
we are planning a small party for the next Sunday. There, Katia
will introduce me to some of her friends, one of who has been
to China several times. I just cant wait.
