Maria,
Your problem is a common one among middle school students. Maybe the following advices can help you. First in all, believe in yourself. The important thing I must do is to smile at your classmates. One smile speaks loud about your wish to make friends than any word. Your smile will show that you are friendly about them. Next, try talking with a classmate who share the same interest with you or who is shy as you. You can discuss your studies with a classmate, but you can also talk about your hobbies. When someone is in the trouble, you should be ready to help him or her. In this way, you can make as much friends as possible.
Yours,
Lily

Two years before, I travelled to Brazil and I rented for a car. Unfortunate, I had an accident and hit another car, and I needed to stay in a hospital for at least two week. I called my parents, so I did not tell them what had happened. I knew that they will be worried about myself because I was so farther away, and that my mother would not sleep if she knew. Therefore, I told them interested stories and how I was enjoying Brazil. As a result, nobody knew truth. I still think it was the right thing to do.

I passed all the other course that I took at my university, but I could never pass botany. This was why all botany students had to spend several hours a week in a lab look through a microscope at plant cells, and I could never see through a microscope. This was used to make my professor angry. “I can’t see everything, ” I said. Then he began patient enough to explain how to see through it, but I still couldn’t make it. At last we tried it with every adjustment of the microscope known to men. With my pleasure, I saw something and drew it quickly on the paper. “What’s that?” my professor asked. “That’s what I saw.” I answered. “No, you don’t!” he shouted, and he bent over and looking into the microscope. “That’s your eyes! You’ve fixed the lens so that it reflects! You’ve drawn your eyes!”
