In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard
University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer
software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be
crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs.
To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As

Dear friends,
It is real a good chance to have met all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in learning in the English Club. Although we have been members for a short period of times, we have made a great progress. That is because we are all very much active and the activities are not only enjoyable and also helpful. Besides, the foreign teachers here work hard and try his best to make the activities lively and interested. I am very pleased to say that all of us greatly improved our spoken English so far. I am looking forward to see all of you again in the near future!

Jim and Mary were both patiences in a Mental Hospital. One day because they were walking by the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom. Mary promptly, jumped in save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.

Mary replied, “He didn’t hang himself, I hang him up to dry.”

Different students hold different view on whether we should start a blog on the Internet． Some believe it can provide with a colorful stage for students to show their talents．Also, it's nice way to help them relieving pressure．However, other have an opposite opinion over it． They thought managing a blog will take much time and energy．Personally, I do approve of students having their own blogs．Nowadays, the Internet is playing an important part to our life．As high school students, it's necessary to learn and make the most of it．In fact, whether it's good or bad depend on how we employ it．If we can take fully advantage of it but avoid its negative effects, we can surely benefit a lot from it．
