I like eating fruit and vegetables what are of great benefit to our healthy. Not only do they prevent us from falling into ill, but they help us lose weight. I used to hate vegetables, but follow the doctor’s advice, I gradually kicked the bad habit. Just as an old saying going, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. However, there are still many children dislike fruit and vegetables. On contrary, influenced by this or that kind of advertisement, many were crazy about junk food. Consequently, they become weaker and weaker instead of getting strong. In my opinion, we must take action to change them.

It was 7:15 in the morning of February 8, 2007. I was walking along Park Road towards the east while an old man came out of the park on the other sides of the street. Then I saw a yellow car drive up Third Street and made a right turn into Park Road. The next moment the car hit the man while she was crossing the road. He fell with a cry. The car didn’t stop and drive off at full speed heading west. I noticed the driver was young woman wore a pair of glasses and the plate number was AC864. After two minutes later, I stopped a passed car and took the old man to the nearest hospital.
Knowing how to do in case of fire is important. If a fire break out, what would you do? First, you should warn everyone in the building about the danger. Don’t panic or start shouting. Be calmly and act quickly. Second, you and all the others should be get out of the building. Don’t stop take anything with you. Once you are out of the building, stay out. Do not go back for some reason. Finally, when you are out of the building, calling the fire police. Don’t try to put off the fire yourself. That can be dangerous if you do.
It was a chance of a lifetime to win the first
prize on the Story Writing Show. All I had to do
was to write a story or present it. My teachers
have been telling me how great my writing was.
So if they had said was true, I would have a chance
of winning the prize. What were better, I had useful
help. There was Uncle Chen, gentleman living
near my house, who was a very much famous writer.
He agreed to reading my story and give me some
advices on how to write like a real writer.

Women are playing a much important part in society than before. Now women are working as teachers, scientists but even leaders. Almost all jobs that used to be done by men is done perfectly well by women. Women are no longer looked down in society. As the changes in their social role, women’s position in the family has been improved as well. That is hard to find the wife is busy while the husband is sitting in an armchair, watches TV. Though there are a lot of changes, the great number of men still guard their rights. Sometimes few women are allowing to attend important meetings. This is the problem we should try to solve it now.
