Good morning, everyone. It’s great honor for me to speak here. My name’s Li Xiaojun, born in a harmonious family. My father and mother are all high school teachers. Influenced by them, I read widely during my early age, but I’ve developed a great interest in arts and sports. I’m easy-going, get along well with my classmates.
It is this personality which helps me win over all my classmates’ friendships, and also help me overcome many difficulties both in academic and personal life. Being admitted in your university has always been a beautiful dream for me. I dream constantly that I, along with mine classmates, will study happy with the help of the respectable professors. Last night, I have a strange but interesting dream. On the way back home. I came across child from another planet. His clothes seemed to be shining and looked beautifully. As I got close to him, he looked frightening and turned his back to me. Though I couldn’t speak his language, I used hand gestures to talk about him. A while later, he told me lots of amazing thing on his planet, which made me laughing, but suddenly, he began to cry, and then he explained he had lost his way but couldn’t find his home. Seeing that, I was offered to help him. His home had a telephone number like ours, so I asked him to call his parents using my phone. Soon before making the call he disappeared.

Three years ago I failed an important exam in my life and became a student in a ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided make the best of it. I worked hard and get along well with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they were always available. Soon, I became one of the top student in my class, and which greatly increased my confidence and got him motivated.
My experience tell me that it is not what you are given but how you make use for it that determines who you are.

At present we are living in a good age. Therefore, there are still a
small number of people who don't act responsibly. His bad behaviors are
out of place in our civilizing society. For an example, some people often
risk their lives to disobey traffic rules. Littering is still a seriously problem.
Some people are often seen spit in public places. Bad still, it is common to
find silly things written by some tourists in scenic spots.
To my opinion, everyone should learn to become a responsible citizen.
We must aware that everything we did in public places will affect others and
we should break our bad habits. As long as we obey the rule in every field and
are filled with care and love, our world will become better.
