Last Saturday, our school had organized an activity to visit the children at a local orphanage(孤儿院）.As one of the volunteer, I took part in it. It is likely for anyone to be misunderstood for some reason. I am no exception. One day after school, I got on my bike and start heading home. I was just about to get out of the traffic jam outside our school while a woman stopped me, claim that my bike had scratched his car. I felt confused because that I clearly remembered that I was trying to avoid touching her car just now. Therefore, she insisted on blaming me and gradually rose her voice. Surrounded by the crowd, I got anxious and desperate wanted this to be over. So I made a compromise.
Never before in my life had I dealt with such thing, and I was apparently taken advantage of. Now I am aware that I should never give out as long as I am on the right side.

Today, Tony and I went to the countryside by the bus for the Strawberry-picking Festival. It starts at 8:00 in the morning. After the organizer introduced the rules of the festival, we led into the strawberry garden by some girls. While walking along the road, we saw beautiful flowers and heard birds sang. The air was much clean than that in the city when we live. During the festival, we enjoyed sweet strawberries or watched some exciting performances. At about 5:00pm, we had to say goodbye for the garden. Tony and I enjoyed us and hoped to visit there again. How an unforgettable experience!

Failure is part of our life. Somebody has ever achieved great success without lots of failures. One experience left lasting impression on me. I’ve been fond of playing the piano since my childhood. Last year there was a piano competition for teenager in my city and I take part in it. I couldn’t wait to show off. The day finally came. However, when I was on the stage I was very nervous that I made several mistakes while playing. My performance was a completely failure.
It was only after the competition when I realized my failure resulted in my lack of practice. From then on, I devoted more time to play the piano because I finally believe that practice make perfect.

The Huaihe River has been serious polluted. Day and night, million of tons of waste water is being poured down to it from hundreds of factories. The waste water was harmful. At present there is no fish in it. The river water cannot drunk. People on either bank have to dig wells to get drinking water. The Huaihe River is such dirty and poisonous that people don’t dare to swim in them. Everything must be done to stop the pollution. The government and the people near the river must try to clear the water as soon as possible. Now special attention has been paid on to the pollution by the government and many scientist. The pollution will be prevented in the near future.
