With more and more cars on the road, the traffic jam will happen. How do we see it and how can we solve the problem?
We know that the traffic jam happens in many places, especially in big cities. What are reasons for the problem? On one hand, some people think that they should have a car when they have enough money, and then it’s easy to go out and they can feel comfortable. On the other hand, a growing number of people hope to use their cars to show off (炫耀). What’s more, years of research has shown that one of other reasons for the traffic jam is the driving habit. For example, many young people enjoy driving very fast, so they can feel excited. At last, most of them hardly care about the speed rules.
Many governments are working at how to make the traffic better. In my opinion, firstly, the governments should educate those people who have cars or plan to buy cars. The governments must make them know that the traffic jam is very serious, and set up a much more perfect traffic system to solve the traffic pressure.

B.The reason for the traffic jam is that more and more people drive cars.

Who could forget those sleepless nights last summer watching Germany beat Brazil(巴西) and Argentina(阿根廷) to win the 2014 World Cup in Brazil?
It was their fourth World Cup, and it gave them the No.1 position in FIFA(国际足联). Germany is becoming the most important soccer team in the world. But how has this change happened? A newspaper offers a clue: “For over 10 years, German teams have been building in the right way.”
After Germany scored only one goal at the 2000 European Championships, Germans wondered why the country no longer produced good young players. So in 2001, the German Football League required that all Bundesliga (德甲) clubs set up schools with youth teams from Under-12s to Under-23s.
The clubs now spend over €100 million (764 million yuan) on youth development every year. And they have improved young German players enough to put them among the best in Europe. For example, Bayern Munich(拜仁慕尼黑队) player Thomas Mueller, 25, who scored five times at the 2014 World Cup, was educated in one of the schools.
More than anything, though, it is team work that has pushed the Bundesliga forward. Bayern is the richest team in Germany, but the team helps its rivals (竞争者) when needed.
Through the country’s World Cup performances(赛事), the German soccer tradition is doing better than ever. Germany can play on top of the world for a few years yet.

Now, everybody is taking selfies. From your best friend to your favourite pop star, selfies are taking over Facebook and Sina Weibo. The word “selfie” was even named Word of the Year by Oxford Dictionaries in 2013. But why do people feel the need to take them? And are they doing us more harm than good?
According to some scientists, humans have an area in their brain that controls social activity. Receiving ‘LIKE’ on a selfie you have posted online can be the same as someone stopping you in the street and speak highly of you on your appearance.
The act of taking a selfie also puts you in a position of power. You are the director and the subject of your own work of art. It helps people feel in control of their appearance and can be a powerful tool.
But can it go too far? Scientists warn that too much time spent on selfies can influence people’s confidence, especially in teenagers. If you are spending a lot of time choosing the perfect selfie clothes, then there could be a problem.
At the same time, posting selfies online can harm your personal relationships. UK studies found that many people find it hard to talk to people who are often posting selfies online.
So next time you want to use your smartphone(智能手机) to take a quick selfie, it may be better to drop it straight back into your pocket.

Success does not belong to a select group of individuals(个人). Success belongs to those who are willing to go after it and try their best to do what they have to do. Here are some useful practical ways for you if you want to be a success.
Desire. Desire is the strong wish to achieve a goal. Without desire you have nothing. Before you can run with desire, your goal must be plain, clear, and it must also be exciting.
Show up. Seventy percent of success in life is showing up. You can’t have a best seller, if you have never written a book. You can’t get your dream job, if you’re afraid to turn in an application. Showing up doesn’t guarantee(保证) success, but if you don’t show up, you won’t succeed.
Fail. Unless you’re willing to have a try, fail unhappily, and have another try, success won’t happen. To have success you have to do things the right way, but often the only way to do something right is to first fail at it. As Thomas J. Watson said, a simple formula(公式)for success is to double your rate of failure (失败). So welcome failure, become a student of failure, learn from failure, and soon you will succeed.
Work Harder. Everyone runs, but everyone is not willing to run for an hour every day. Success is not about doing what the common person can’t do. It’s about doing what the common person is unwilling to do. And on a deeper level, it’s about creating habits that the common person is unwilling to create. It’s the habit of doing things with excellence that causes success.
Enjoy the Journey. Success is a journey, not a destination(终点). Success is not a certain car or a certain house or a certain happy marriage. Success is the enjoyment of the journey. You have to enjoy the journey.
Someone once said, “Unless you change how you are, you will always have what you’ve got.” You have to change…you will change, you will succeed.

My best friend and I made our first trip to Ireland less than a year ago. I wasn’t very excited about it at the very beginning. But my uncle wanted me to visit Ireland and offered to pay for my trip. Then I did. All of the words “magical, charming and memorable” don’t even describe what Ireland is. Our favourites were Kilkenny, Cobh and Killarney. We did a self-driver tour.
We stayed in a castle in Dublin for two days, where my ancestors(祖先) came from. The town we thought we might be bored in was Kilkenny, but we loved every minute we were there. There were so many places to explore and the pictures we took were beautiful.
It was so exciting to see the little village of Cobh and know it was the last stop for the Titanic(a famous ship) at that time. We loved the visitor centre there and the little shops. We never got any bad food there. It was so mouth-watering at every stop! And when we stayed in Westmeath, we saw the Trim Castle through the windows and found some scenes from Brave Heart which was filmed there. We were so excited. Again, more beautiful pictures were taken in that tiny town.
We love the country, the people, the food and the magic. We would go back very soon. I was so thankful for my uncle who had given me the chance to be there.
I have no words to adequately describe our trip. Go, explore the small villages, eat and enjoy! I still look at my pictures and can’t believe I was actually there.
