题文

下面文章有5处需要填入合适的内容。请从以下选项(A、B、C、D、E和F)中选出最恰当的内容 。
A. Keep your expectations realistic
B. Call a friend right before the date
C. Show up on time
D. Dress comfortably
E. Make eye contact
F. Telling the truth
Many of us get nervous just at the mention of a first date, but it really doesn't have to be such a big deal if you' re prepared. That's where this article comes in. After interviewing hundreds of singles all over the U.S about their first date experienced, we've put together a list of first date dos and don' ts to help out.
1. ___________
Staring at your hands, at the table, or at the guy in the blue shirt sitting at the next table doesn't exactly say "I dig you". You might do that out of shyness on your part, but keep in mind that the person sitting in front of you might not understand that and take it personally. Of course don't stare too hard, it might look a little freaky, but make sure your eyes meet often enough to keep both of you going.
2. ____________
It' s never cool when someone keeps you waiting, so don't keep them waiting either. And NO-a fashionably late entrance will NOT make you look better. You'll just look rude and inconsiderate. If you' re feeling anxious before a date, keep in mind that your date might be feeling anxious as well, so don' t prolong their suffering any more than necessary.
3. _____________
As exciting as dating someone new can seem, you' re better off not expecting to meet Prince Charming right off the hat. If you keep your expectations realistic, good date will be a pleasant surprise and lousy date won' t matter as much.
4. _____________
By comfort, I don't mean sweatpants and laundry-day underwear. But it is a first date, so you don' t want to be overdressed either. What if your date shows up in jeans and a sweater and you' re all about sequins, silk and spike heels? Instead, you should definitely go for a nice and attractive yet comfy outfit, with comfortable shoes. If you hit it off and go walking around, you want to avoid being cold or getting blistered feet. You can easily go for a casual but sexy look and pass the first date treat with flying colors.
5. _____________
If you didn't feel any sparks flying between the two of you, tell your date gently but honestly. Nobody's feelings should have to get hurt. On the other hand, if you did feel that you clicked, forget about the supposed "dating rules" that say you should wait a few days before calling him or her again. Listen to your heart and go ahead and call if you want to. If the feeling is mutual, your date will be happy, and maybe even relieved, that you picked up the phone first.

Mom and dad are the most important people in your life, and they’re likely to influence you more than anyone else in your lifetime. It’s a parent’s job to love and guide kids, and most parents will do this as long as they live. Here are four ways you can stay close, get along, and build a strong relationship.
Spend time together. It might be easy to be physically in the same place with your mom and dad. Instead of playing a computer game or watching TV by yourself, maybe you should ask your mom and dad to play with you. You can go outside together, try a board game, or read a book together.
Many kids say they would like their parents to help them when they’re upset. But your mom and dad might not know that you’re having a problem. Tell your parents if you’re sad or struggling with something. If you don’t usually do this, give it a try and you will be glad.
Be kind. Little things might mean a lot to your mom and dad. It’s also lovely when a kid offers to help fold the laundry or cleans up his or her room without being asked. And if you try not to fight with your brothers or sisters, your parents might be so excited!
Show your care. Some families are always kissing, hugging, and saying “I love you” In addition to kisses and hugs, kids and parents can show their love by respecting each other, being caring, polite, and thoughtful.

A.But how much time do you spend just enjoying each other’s company(陪伴)?
B.It’s important to show that you care for each other.
C.But parents do a lot more than just pass down their hobbies.
D.Share your feelings and ask for help.

E. Talk on the phone and email each other to stay in touch.
F. You can brighten your parents’ day with a hug, a card or a joke.
G. That means you have many years to share with your mom and dad.

Live your life to the fullest potential by enjoying the beauty of these experiences, and letting them inspire you to be the most positive version of YOU.
Living a positive life is all about creating positive habits to help you focus on what truly matters. This is the secret of super positive people. Here are some simple ideas to help you follow in their footsteps.
________
Life's too wonderful to waste time with people who don't treat you right. So surround yourself with people who make you happy and make you smile. People who help you up when you're down. People who would never take advantage of you. People who genuinely care. They are the ones worth keeping in your life. Everyone else is just passing through.
________
Your life isn't perfect, but it does have perfect moments. Don't let the little things get you down. You've got plenty of reasons to look up at the sky and say, "Thank you, I will do my best to make this a great day." So slow down and pause for a moment to stand in awe of(敬畏) the fact that you are alive, and that you have the ability to rediscover life as the miracle it has always been.
________
It doesn't have to be January 1st to give yourself a chance to make good use of your life. Every day is a new day to learn, grow, develop your strengths, heal yourself from past regrets, and move forward. Every day gives you a chance to reinvent yourself, to adjust who you are, and build on the lessons you have learned. It is never too late to change things that are not working in your life.
________
Today, give someone one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine they see all day. Sometimes just a single genuine smile or praise can lift a person's spirits to new heights. At the right time, a kind word from a stranger, or unexpected encouragement from a friend, can make all the difference in the world. Kindness is free, but it's priceless. And as you know, what goes around comes around.

下面文章中4处需要添加小标题。请从以下选项(A、B、C、D、E)中选出符合各段意思的小标题。并在答题卡上将相应选项的标号涂黑,选项中有一项是多余选项。

A. The Development of HSK
B. Putonghua’s Deep Influence
C. Chinese---More than a Language
D. The Increasing Number of Foreigners Learning Chinese
E. Job-hunting Becoming Easy with a Certain Level of Chinese

Chinese is a member of the Sino-Tibetan family of languages and spoken by over a billion people in China. It is also one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Learning Chinese is becoming more and more popular among foreigners.
_______
Growing numbers of foreigners are showing a desire to learn the Chinese language, according to the latest official statistics. By the end of last year, nearly 30 million people from more than 85 countries and regions were learning standard Chinese-Putonghua. China is also witnessing a growth in the number of foreign students who come to study Chinese and related courses. An estimated 410,000 foreign students have signed up for Chinese courses over the past 10 years. It is estimated that the number of foreigners coming to China to learn the language has maintained an average annual growth rate of 35 per cent over the past few years.
The Reason Why Chinese is Getting Popular
China’s continuous economic expansion and the strengthening of its trade and business ties with the rest of the world have been behind the interest in learning Chinese. These kinds of business engagements have in turn sparked a huge demand for professional employees in foreign countries with a good command of Chinese.
_______
The trend is more evident among some of China’s largest trading partners, particularly Japan, the United States, the Republic of Korea and some nations in Southeast Asia. “I think a good knowledge of Chinese can help me find work back in my country as there are a growing number of business companies setting up operations in China,” said a 24-year-old female student of Peking University who comes from South Korea. She added that a certificate of the Chinese Proficiency Test, or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), is important when seeking work in a large company in South Korea. Nowadays, more and more foreigners every year outside China took the HSK, according to statistics from China’s Ministry of Education. This trend is expected to increase.
________
The HSK test began in Beijing in 1988. It is a national standardized test designed to assess foreign students’ command of the Chinese language. In 1991, the HSK test was held on a trial basis in Singapore, Japan and Australia It has since been gradually accepted by educational departments in more countries. So far, the Office of the State Commission for the Chinese Proficiency Test has set up 44 testing centres in 27 cities in China, including Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, and 55 centres in 24 other countries in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania. Since 1991, people from 120 countries have taken the test in those centres, said Vice-Minister of Education Zhang Xingsheng.
________
The Chinese language-as well as Chinese culture and other languages and cultures-has played a tremendous role in developing human civilization and pushing forward social progress, Zhang said.“Hopefully the exchange of languages can help enhance understanding and friendship between peoples of different countries,”he added.
