It was a chance of a lifetime to win the first
prize on the Story Writing Show. All I had to do
was to write a story or present it. My teachers
have been telling me how great my writing was.
So if they had said was true, I would have a chance
of winning the prize. What were better, I had useful
help. There was Uncle Chen, gentleman living
near my house, who was a very much famous writer.
He agreed to reading my story and give me some
advices on how to write like a real writer.

What will the city of the future like? No one know for sure, and make predictions is a risky business. In the future, care about the environment will become very important as some of the earth’s natural resources have been run out. We will use lots of recycling materials, such as plastics, aluminum, steel, glass, wood and paper, and we will waste less natural resources. We will also have to rely more on alternative energies, like solar and wind power. All this seems certain, and there are plenty of things about city life in the future are not certain.

About 70 million American are trying to lose weight. That’s almost one out of three in United States. Some ate less of certain foods, especial fat and sugar.
Others exercise, take medicine or even have operations. Losing a weight is not easy, and it can also cost lots of money. And why do many people in the US want lose weight? Many people worry for not looking young and pretty. Other people worry about health. Many doctors say putting on too much weight are not healthy. Almost 30 million people weigh at least 20 percent much than their usual weight.
