A long time ago, there was an emperor. One day he told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and 16 as much land area as he liked, he would give him the area of land he had covered. 17 enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and 18 as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He 19 riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. Even when he was 20 and tired, he did not stop 21 he wanted to cover as much area as possible. When he at last covered a large amount of land, he was exhausted and was 22 . Then he asked himself, “Why did I 23 myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only 24 a very small area to 25 myself.”
The above story is 26 to the journey of our 27 . We push ourselves very hard every day to make more 28 , to gain power or recognition. We neglect our 29 , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding 30 and the things we love to do. One day 31 we look back, we will 32 that we don’t really need that much, 33 then we cannot turn back time for what we have 34 .

Do you love libraries? If you love books as much as I do, then I’m certain you must.
My library card has a(n) place in my wallet, and some of my favorite of childhood come from the public library in my hometown. It is a(n) house, much like the one introduced in Secrets of the Blue Hill Library, coming this summer.
The children’s section(区) of our library is on the lower level, and I felt when I walked down the steps, opened the small door (just right for a child) and entered the room with many rows of shelves. It was a wonderland where new adventures (奇遇) and friends awaited(等待).
I clearly the pleasant smell of books — a mix of new and smell — that attracted me deeply, and, like a bee moving from flower to flower, I book after book as I took in varieties of on those shelves and tried to choose the next ones I would take home. I preferred to read books about real-life heroes, whose lives me a lot. From the books on our library shelves, the world was opened to me in an attractive way.
, of course, my reading took me up the steps and into the library on the first and second floors, where I continued reading every book with much . To be honest, I can’t how different my life would have been if it had not been for the variety of reading I at the library. I can say for certain that, its strong and comforting presence in my life, I would not be the person I am today — a successful writer.
In the book Secrets of the Blue Hill Library, the people of this small town have no . But two wonderful women come together to provide both a nice library for the town and a home for Anne, the leading character. But that is only the beginning of the adventures that await Anne—and you as my fellow library lover.

I think I’m one of the luckiest people in the world because of the time I’m able to spend with young people who are not afraid to show their excitement and zest for life. , I would prefer a person with passion and enthusiasm to a person with and talent any day of the week. You can teach and develop skills, you cannot develop a love of life and an optimistic attitude. These are of a person and appear at all times during work or play. Furthermore, they are traits that one is born with and they will never them.
As a and an Independent Education and Career Planning Advisor, I too many children and young adults who are on a road to despair unless someone can find a way to change their attitude towards and indeed life itself!
, society has turned out too many children and young that are unwilling to put much or thought into their work. Whenever I come across such people— or old, I’m reminded of a boy who went with his mother on a blueberry picking hike into the . The boy filled his mostly with moss(苔藓) and then covered the moss with a thin layer of blueberries so that it looked . But the next morning, he found the blueberry pie which his mother for him was moss.
So , whether you are in school or , if you have enthusiasm and if you are to put in consistent effort along with passion, you will receive the . If, on the other hand, you are and prefer to take short-cuts, you should not expect to achieve the same results.
