Many of us have ever loved the two toy bears—a brown Teddy bear and a yellow Winnie-the-Pooh bear. The two toy bears come from real stories in life.
In 1902, Theodore Roosevelt, President of the USA, went on hunting. The hunting dogs found an old bear in the forest near Washington D.C. and the guide asked the president to shoot (射杀) it. But President Roosevelt disagreed. A cartoonist (漫画家) drew a cartoon showing that the president refused to shoot the beat. Soon, the bear began to appear in other newspapers. People named the bear Teddy which was Theodore’s nickname (昵称).
In 1913, a captain named Harry Cole bourn paid 20 dollars for a black bear which was born in the Canadian country side. The captain’s hometown, Winnipeg, was the origin (起源) of the bear’s name. In Winnipeg, Winnie served as the mascot (吉祥物). When Would War I began, the captain went to France. Winnie was sent to London Zoo which many kids often visited. Because of its lovely look, the bear became popular with children.

Within IOC, Samaranch was a man much admired and sometimes loved, the Spanish who made the organization into one that is rich and so powerful.
No one doubted Samaranch’s ability to make something impossible come true. In 1981 he ensured(确保) that Seoul was elected to be the host of the 1988 Olympics. Remember, that was a time when the two Koreas were at war with each other. Samaranch led the IOC from 1980 to 2001. Certainly, throughout his IOC presidential term, he had a soft spot for Moscow, for it was there that he was elected president of the IOC in 1980, and it was there that he managed to reach his final wishes as IOC president. Very early on in that 2001 Moscow session he wanted the Belgian surgeon, Jacques Rogge, a newcomer to the Olympic Movement, to replace him as president, for China to host the 2008 Olympic Games and for his son, Juan Antonio Samaranch junior, to become an IOC member. He got all three wishes.

On the Earth, everyone has a home. While in space, there is also a home. It is nearly as big as a soccer field and larger than a six-bedroom house. It is the International Space Station(ISS).
The ISS is home to astronauts. Usually, there are three to six astronauts on board. Astronauts in the space station are very busy. Two men in Shanghai have been said dead from H7N9, while a woman in Anhui province is seriously ill from the virus, the National Health and Family Planning Commission said on Sunday.
This is the first time a human from H7N9 has been detected (确诊).Little research has been done on this unknown bird flu, and there are no vaccines (疫苗) against the virus.
The reported deaths were of an 87-year-old man who was found ill on Feb 19 and died on March 4, and a 27-year-old man who was found ill on Feb 27 and died on March 10.The third person, a 35-year-old woman from Chuzhou, Anhui province, is in hospital in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.
It is still unknown how the three became ill, and experts said there is no evidence that they caught the illness from each other. There is also no evidence of anyone who stay closely with them being ill.
To be away from H7N9 and stay healthy, remember the following things.
1.Go to crowded places as less as possible, especially the elderly and children. Pay attention to personal self-protection.
2.Keep the air in door fresh. Often wash your hands. Cover the nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing (打喷嚏).Wash hands after cleaning the nose and mouth.
3.Eat clean food. Don’t put raw (生的) and cooked food together. And do not eat raw or undercooked meat, eggs and other food.
