Life is filled with challenges. As we get older we 31 realize that those challenges are the very things that 32 us and make us who we are .It is the same with the challenges that come with 32 .
When we are faced with a challenge, we usually have two 34. We can try to beat it off, or we can decide that the thing 35 the challenge isn’t worth the 36 and call it quits. Although there are certainly 37 when calling it quits is the right thing to do, in most 38 all that is needed is 39 and communication.
When we are committed to something, it means that no matter how 40 or how uncomfortable something is, we will always choose to 41 it and work it trough instead of running away from it. Communication is making a 42 for discussion and talking about how you feel as opposed to just saying what the other person did wrong. 43 you can say to a friend, “I got my feelings hurt.” 44 “You hurt my feelings,” you are going to be able to solve the problem much faster.
In dealing with the many challenges that friendship will bring to you, try to see them for 45 they are: small hurdles you need to jump or 46 on your way through life. Nothing is so big that it is 47 to get over, and hurt only 48 to make us stronger. It is all part of growing up, it 49 to everyone, and some day you will 50 all of this and say, “Hard as it was, it made who I am today. And that is a good thing.”

My grandparents were married for over half a century, and played their own special game from the time they had met each other. The goal of their game was to write the word "shmily" in a 31 place for the other to find. They took turns leaving "shmily" around the house, and as soon as one of them 32 it, it was their turn to hide it once more.
There was no 33 to the places where "shmily" would appear. Sometimes, "Shmily" was written in the 34 left on the mirror after a hot shower, where it would reappear bath after bath. 35 , my grandmother even unrolled an entire roll of toilet paper to 36 "shmily" on the very last sheet.
It took me a long time before I was able to fully 37 my grandparents' game. It was 38 their funny little game; it was a way of life. Grandma and Grandpa held hands every chance they could. They 39 kisses as they ran into each other in their tiny kitchen. Before every meal they bowed their heads and gave their 40 : a wonderful family, good fortune, and 41 .
But there was a 42 cloud in my grandparents' life: my grandmother had breast cancer, which had first appeared ten years earlier. As always, Grandpa was with her every
43 of the way. He comforted her in their yellow room, painted that way 44____ she could always be surrounded by sunshine, even when she was too 45 to go outside. Then one day, what we all 46 finally happened. Grandma was gone.
"Shmily." It was written in yellow on the pink ribbons of my grandmother's funeral bouquet. As the crowd 47 and the last mourners (哀悼者) turned to leave, my aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members 48 and gathered around Grandma 49 . Grandpa stepped up to my grand-mother's casket and, 50 with sorrow, he began to sing to her. Through his tears and grief, the song came, a deep and throaty lullaby (摇篮曲).
SHMILY: See how much I love you.

On a cold November afternoon,my mother and 1 were walking home from a 21 .We were dressed 22 .1 was feeling a little 23 as 1 was carrying our shopping, and decided to throw away something. So I started to walk towards a 24 when I noticed a poor man walking out of the restaurant in front of us.He 25 over to another nearby dustbin and started looking through it.
I suddenly felt very guilty because 1 was about to throw away a new drink just because it was
26 .1 walked up to him and handed the 27 and some snacks over to him.The man looked up 28 and took what I gave him.
A huge smile 29 across his face and this 30 me to feel indescribable satisfaction.I felt I couldn’t be happier 31 myself. But then he said:“Wow,this is my son’s lucky day!”
With that,he thanked me happily and started off on his bike,I 32 heard him whistling a song as he rode away.
I got a warm 33 inside.I now understand 34 is meant by the saying “giving is getting”.
Although it only 35a little action and a few words,I gained and learned more in those two minutes than I did in the rest of the month.Everyone in the world needs 36 ,everyone can 37 help and everyone will be helped by 38 kindness.
The image of that man’s happiness caused by my small gift appears in my mind every 39 I have the chance to do something nice.
This is the 40 of charity.

Monty Roberts, owner of a horse ranch (牧场) in San Ysidro, once told us a story. “When a young man was a senior, he was asked to write a paper about what he wanted to__36__and do when he grew up. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams.__54__you had enough determination not to give up on yours.”
