After watch “English TV” last Sunday morning, I called my classmate and asked him to go to see a film in the afternoon. Before the film was over, we returned to school to do our lessons. I was frightening on my first day of classes at an American university．It was my first time to sit with so many Americans in a classroom．Unlike many other classmate, I sat quietly by myself．My teacher spoke fast and I had a hard time understanding him．English, without a doubt, is the hardest thing I experienced so far．Though I'm a Chinese student, communicate fluently with Americans can be really difficultly．Therefore, I have to struggle to understand that is being said in class．Reading and writing is equally as important as listening and speaking．When my classes started to get busy, the readings got longer．The papers also got harder, and that's when real disaster struck．

I’m a senior 3 student who take the College Entrance Exam soon．Now I have a problem in choosing my major．My parents want me to study international business．Therefore，my head teacher suggests that I chose software engineering．As for me，I have a total different idea from them．I want to take environmental science for my major so that I can use that I have learned to help improving the environment in my hometown after the graduation．But can I possibly make a decision on my own against the will of my parents and my teacher? Good morning!
Today , my topic is the valuable of time. Time, like the proverb says, is money. This means that if our time is good employed, it will turn out a lot of useful and important piece of work when the proper opportunity come. Although all time is precious, but the time of our childhood and of our youth is more precious than any period of our existence because those are the periods which we can acquire knowledge and develop our abilities. If we allow these morning hours to slip away, we shall never able to make up for the loss.

When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties．The main problem was in that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese．My teacher advised me to keep diaries．I followed her advices．Happily it worked．Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English．One day I wrote a short story and showed it my teacher．She liked it very much that she read it to the class．Everyone said the story was the good one. I was great encouraged by their words．

It is naturally that you don’t feel happy when you failed the mid-term examination. Though you failed the exam two months ago, you should have confidence in yourselves and felt relaxed so that you can do better in the coming exams. The reason why you feel too tiring to study may be because you are not confident. What you must do now are to organize your time well and be sure of yourself. Don’t work too late or too hardly. In this way you are more likely to get tired. If you miss your good days with your classmates, talking to your classmates about your worries. I’m sure they are willing to help me out no matter how busy they are.
