Ingrid Bergman (1915-1982) was born in Stockholm on August 29th and died on the same day. She was one of the most successful women of her time.
In 1934, while she was still in school, she played in her first film The Count of Mount’s Bridge. Four films followed, and people were surprised at how well young Ingrid Bergman played. Then she played in Casablanca, and this film won three Oscars.
